Expert Bio
Alex is a program associate for the Middle East Program at the Wilson Center and serves as Editor-in-Chief of the program's publications and hosts the program's podcast "Riyada: Business, Tech, and Innovation in MENA." His research focuses on entrepreneurship, labor markets, education, and digital transformation in the region. He holds a Master of Public Administration and Master of Arts in International Studies from the University of Washington, with a focus in international development policy and management. He has previously lived in Jordan and Morocco and is professionally proficient in Arabic.
